Hello, my name is Christopher DeBose, professionally known as Coach Chris. A true embodiment of discipline, perseverance, and unwavering determination has led an unforgettable life rooted in a passion for military service, sports and physical fitness.
Born and raised in the South of Mississippi, I demonstrated early on an innate sense of duty and respect for my country. Inspired by my strong family tradition of military service, I eagerly pursued a path of honor and enlisted in the U.S. Marines straight out of high school.
My dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence propelled me through the ranks of the military. Having demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and a natural ability to adapt under challenging circumstances, I consistently surpassed expectations. From basic training to deployments in combat zones, and 2 tours as a Drill Instructor. I exemplified the qualities of a true military professional – integrity, selflessness, and a fierce determination to train and protect my marines and the ideals my country stood for.
I received extensive training and gained invaluable experience during my time in the Marine Corps. Through exercises and missions, I honed my strategic thinking, teamwork, resilience, and mental fortitude – qualities that would later benefit me greatly in my personal training career.
After faithfully serving my country for 22 years, I decided to explore my lifelong passion for personal training. No stranger to hard work and discipline, I embarked on a rigorous journey to transition from military life to the competitive world of athletics. With an unparalleled work ethic and an unquenchable thirst for success, I’ve approached personal training with the same dedication and commitment that defined my military service.
The transition from the structured nature of the military to the unpredictable world of Personal training has presented numerous challenges. However, resilience and determination has enabled me to surpass expectations and prove that my military discipline was a vital asset on the gridiron.
I am beyond excited and looking forward to help you obtain your fitness goals. As a new member to the Self made family, but not new to the world of training and having to live by core values. The mission is set and the goal is obtainable. However, it will come with a challenge. Through countless hours of practice, physical conditioning, and mental preparation, my goal is to ensure you as an athlete are beyond prepared to become more focused, determined and dedicated.
